Outside sales representatives conduct sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products and services. They must possess excellent social skills to foster strong relationships.

Nursery Sales Representatives provide excellent customer service by assisting walk-in customers promptly and courteously with their requirements and efficient processing of their orders. They answer questions and provide information as needed. Transactions take place primarily at the counter or in the yard.

This position consists of loading and unloading trucks, blocking plants (to ease customer service and inventory counts), watering, weeding, pruning and fertilizing plants. Yard Associates will help with housekeeping and yard maintenance. They will also learn how to repair irrigation breaks and leaks.
